AMBASSADOR & SPEAKER
Julie-Ann’s work is also on dry land too, with requests to speak at Parent conferences both in the UK, Australia, and around the world plus was invited to be the Huggies Swim Nappy Ambassador in 2010 for which involved travelling to various locations around the UK teaching babies and pre-and postnatal mums.
Since returning to Australia in 2018, Julie-Ann has been working closely with Swim Australia and was invited to speak at the ACTA Convention in Brisbane. The aim of the event was to learn, network, share experiences, challenge perspectives and to celebrate the achievements and great work that is being undertaken each and every day across Australia and Internationally. She was also asked to present her PABA (Parent & Baby Aquasize) where many companies signed up for new innovative licence program.
In August 2018 Julie-Ann has also been invited to speak at the EAA (European Aquatic Association) Aqua fitness conference in Florence, Italy to speak on Baby Swimming and PABA, as the interest in this program is growing rapidly.
Wherever Julie-Ann is based, at the heart of all that she does remains the same. It is the passion to help parents and their children that motivated her in the first instance to teach babies to swim.
“I am grateful to have found my true vocation! I have been privileged to share my knowledge to make a significant impact on the baby swimming industry globally. I love to research the latest trends to evolve and create new Aqua concepts to ensure that families experience the numerous physical and mental health benefits gained by both parent and child whilst exploring the water together. The children eat and sleep better after a lesson and the psychology bonding in the lessons makes a happy contended child. It is also important for parents to enjoy time with other parents too”Julie-Ann
